Montclaire Elementary School Mural
After dialoguing with my clients at Montclaire Elementary School, we decided to base the design for their new mural on feedback from a survey sent to the graduating 5th-grade students about what they felt was unique about their school culture and traditions. A few suggestions included “WATSA”, the annual 5k & carnival fundraiser, the 3rd grade “Tiger Creek” town reenactment, the “Big Blue” play structure, the running club, and the school mascot, Monte. I ended up taking the kids’ ideas a little less literally to make the composition flow. (Read more about this school mural’s development here.)
