Bubb Elementary School Community Mural with Bears

The Bubb Murals were part of a larger school beautification weekend organized by Beautiful Day (a community service project that organizes volunteer opportunities to support organizations, schools, businesses, and other groups). They were planning for about 100 volunteers over the weekend who would be involved in general painting, re-striping the playground, deep cleaning the classrooms and library, and working on the plantings and landscaping. The plan was that I would sketch the designs on the wall the day before, and then just train the volunteers as painters in the morning. I assured them it was a great plan.
